Stranda municipality is located in Sunnmøre in Møre og Romsdal and encompasses the areas around Storfjorden, Sunnylvsfjorden and Geirangerfjorden. With the Geirangerfjord on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the municipality is known for its magnificent nature and strong traditions in tourism and outdoor activities.

Stranda is also an important industrial municipality with a diverse business community. The food industry is strong, along with agriculture, tourism and a number of small and medium-sized businesses that create value and jobs.

Through membership in West Norway Brussels Office strengthens Stranda municipality the connection to Europe and gain access to insights, networks and opportunities for collaboration that benefit both the local community and the business community.
