Partners and networks
European cooperation is built on good relationships. Through our networks, VNB keeps up to date with developments in Europe, promotes Western Norwegian interests and connects members with relevant regions, professional communities and collaboration partners.
The networks provide access to knowledge and exchange of experience, but are also important arenas for developing projects, finding partners and influencing European policymaking.
Network VNB participated in
ERRIN – European Regions Research and Innovation Network
ERRIN is a European network for research and innovation. Through membership, VNB and our members gain access to professional working groups, events, project opportunities and contact with regions and professional communities from across Europe.
European Policy Centre
The European Policy Centre is an independent think tank that analyses European policy and societal developments. Membership gives VNB access to professional meeting places, analyses and discussions on current issues in the EU.
Informal networks in Brussels
VNB also participates in Norwegian and European networks within, among other things, regional policy, transport, research and innovation. Here we address issues that may be of importance to Western Norway, share experiences and explore opportunities for cooperation with other regions.

Find a European partner
VNB regularly receives requests from European regions and organizations seeking Norwegian partners for their projects. We share relevant opportunities with our members and help assess whether a partnership might be appropriate.
