Student intern
The Western Norway Brussels office usually accepts one student intern each semester. The internship period normally lasts from mid-January to June in the spring semester and from September to December in the fall semester.
About the internship
As a student intern, you will be part of the daily operations of the office and gain relevant work experience from the political capital of the EU. Tasks may include writing articles and newsletters, participating in the office's activities and following current events and conferences in Brussels.
We are looking for students who have a good knowledge of the institutions and policies of the EU, and who know Western Norway and the interests in the region. The internship gives you the opportunity to use your academic knowledge in practice and gain greater insight into European cooperation.
The internship is unpaid. It is therefore planned that the stay is included in the education and provides credits, so that the student can apply for support from the Norwegian Loan Fund. It may also be possible to apply for a mobility grant through Erasmus+.
The internship position for the spring semester is normally advertised in the fall, while the position for the fall semester is advertised in the spring. Eligible candidates will be invited for an interview.
