Volda University College (HVO) is one of the leading university colleges between Bergen and Trondheim, with over 4,000 students and strong academic environments within media, journalism, teacher education, social sciences and humanities.

The university college is known for its practice-oriented education, a close-knit learning environment and a special national responsibility for the Nynorsk language and written culture.
