Vestland County Council is a regional development actor for approximately 650,000 inhabitants. The county stretches from coast to mountains and has strong professional environments and industries within the ocean, maritime activities, renewable energy, industry, tourism and research.

The county council works for sustainable development, green transition and value creation through collaboration with municipalities, business, academia and public actors. International cooperation is an important part of this work, especially within innovation, climate and regional development.

Through membership in West Norway Brussels Office strengthens Vestland County Council connection to Europe and contribute to promoting the interests of West Norway in European networks and cooperation.
